Santos Graphite Natural Roof Slate
The Santos slate is a natural slate from Brazil with a flat smooth surface and wide dressed edges.
Graphite colour with subtle natural tone variations which leaves a traditional rustic finish.
The slate comes as standard in a 7mm and heavier grade 9mm thickness. Whereas Spanish slates are of higher quality in the lower thickness, the opposite is true for the Brazilian rock. The heavier grade in the Santos slate is more durable and suited to exposed sites.

Grading: Santos Roof Slates require minimal selection/grading on site. The quality control and selection process in this quarry is the best we have seen in 25 years selling roofing material. Every piece is split, dressed, punched and packed by hand.
We offer 7mm as standard, or 9mm for the more exposed sites.
Fitting: All Brazilian Slate are extremely hard, guarantees require cutting all slate with a disc machine and using a slate hook and 2 nails to fit every slate. Slate Supplies recommend all slates should be fitted by a qualified / experienced roofer.
