The Vermont Natural Roof Slate is our most prestigious Roof Slate.
It is quarried exclusively for Slate Supplies for the Irish and UK Markets. We are the sole importer of this slate.
Origin: Fairhaven, Vermont, USA
Colour: Clear Heather or Purple Colour is very unique and highly sought after. Similar colour to Welsh Blue Bangor / Bangor Blue Roof Slate. No green spots below the point of laying/visible after laying. They are tested and certified to be un-fading.
Texture: Flat Smooth Surface, Wide Dressed Edges. Low Calcium Content, No metal inclusions
Appearance: Subtle Natural Tone Variations leaves a Traditional Rustic Finish. Very popular on heritage/prestigious projects due to its unique colour.
Grading: Vermont Heather Natural Roof Slate require minimal selection/grading on site. The quality control and selection process in this quarry is of the highest standard, every slate is split, dressed, punched and packed by hand, minimal automation.
Size: 20 x 12” or 510 x 305 mm
“County Grade” 8 mm Thickness is standard for Ireland and UK.
Other sizes are available on request.
